This has been one of the handiest little additions to my greenhouse setup. I use it daily to monitor humidity and temperature so I can keep my plants happy during hot Tennessee weather. The display is clear and easy to read from across the room, setup took seconds, and it’s been very accurate so far. Compact size but incredibly useful if you garden indoors, have a greenhouse, or even just want to monitor humidity inside your home.

Simple, Accurate, and Perfect for My Whelping RoomI bought the TempPro TP49 Digital Hygrometer/Indoor Thermometer to monitor temperature and humidity in my puppy room, and it has been such a great little tool. When you’re raising a litter, especially newborn Golden Retrievers, keeping the environment stable is so important — and this makes it incredibly easy.The display is large, clear, and easy to read from across the room. I love that it shows both temperature and humidity at the same time, and the comfort indicator (dry/comfort/wet) is a quick visual check when I’m busy with puppies. No complicated setup — just pop in the battery and it’s ready to go.Accuracy has been solid. I compared it to another thermometer I had, and the readings were right in line. It updates quickly, which is helpful when adjusting room temperature or adding a humidifier. It’s small and lightweight, so I can move it around the house depending on where the puppies or mom are resting.For the price, this is a must-have if you’re monitoring a nursery, whelping box area, or even just your home comfort levels. I love this item. I have two: 1 in my garage and one in my greenhouse. I can see the temperature in both places at any time - from my living room. AND it keeps temp and humidity history for up to a year. So easy to see how high/low temps for the day, or overnight. Inexpensive and they work very well. Check out the pics!

Calibrated them with salt; one was dead on and one was 1% off, I think par for the course.

nice small size but with large display, and takes "regular" battery. Big improvement over the last one I bought. Calibrated with my HVAC thermostat, it's within 1 degree. I just wish it had a compass. Good price, good value.

I bought 2. They are an improvement with the wireless addition. I use them with my Apple iPhone 15 to review change in data over time. The LCD display can light up for about 10 seconds when needed + it has time & date.•Note: Not good to monitor the refrigerator unless you leave it there = when you remove it, the humidity/condensation overwhelms the device. This might occur in other rapid changes in environments.

This thermometer and humidity sensor was so easy to set up! The back was magnetic and attached right to my garage shelving were I want to monitor the temp and humidity for storing dahlia tubers, elephant ears, canna, and other garden bulbs. The app on my phone is amazing with views by week and month. This is a great bargain which I am very pleased with! I’m going to buy one for a friend too!

This is a great device offered at very reasonable price. We experienced very high uncomfortable humidity in our newly-built house (summertime N. Carolina), and I purchased the device to confirm high humidity (it was!). After an AC technician performed corrective service to both new AC units, its associated easy to use bluetooth phone app confirmed return of humidity to acceptable levels (the ThermoPro TP358 readings were in close agreement to the tech's equipment). The app's bluetooth tracking of current, daily, weekly or annual humidity/temperature variation data is a reassuring feature, providing feedback of AC/heat unit function (and a history for routine maintenance evaluation). The minor additional cost of the ThermoPro TP358 Thermometer over that of base models not offering it is really useful. This feature allows easy phone-app tracking of temp/humidity in any area of the house (e.g, unheated/unair-conditioned spaces). Our water heater is in such a space and can be vulnerable to extreme wintertime freeze conditions. Will definitely use it to monitor if water-heater is approaching a freeze event. Importantly, the ThermoPro TP358 app can be set to provide heads-up phone alerts to unacceptable temp/humidity excursions preset by me in the app.

I got this because my girlfriend kept complaining about the temperate in certain rooms. Of course, as someone that pays the power bill it is my duty to protect the thermostat and make sure too much energy consumption isn't happening. Dads unite, this is how we help fight climate change, right?Anyway, my significant other kept complaining about the temperature in different rooms, accusing our thermostat of being in the wrong location and that there are different temperatures throughout the house so we needed to turn the air lower, or turn the heat up, etc.Well fear not friends, with this handy thermometer you will know the exact temperature in any room you have it in. I recommend buying multiple just so you know what the temp is and won't get persuaded to allow anyone else to fiddle with the thermostat.Another great feature is knowing the humidity. In the winter when your people want to turn up the heat because it's too cold, you can check the humidity. I recommend humidifiers, to raise that up to about 40% because when there is water in the air it does tend to feel warmer.It has a magnetic back so you can have one on the fridge, or wherever you can just stick it. It also has a stand where it can just sit on a table.Don't be fooled though, if the thermometer is sitting in a sun beam, it will read as a higher temperature. Also, if someone is holding it prior to showing you the temperature when pleading their case, it will show as a higher temperate. And of course, if it is sitting in front of a drafty window it may show a lower temperature. Use common sense when possible.Overall, this was a good purchase. I now know the temperature in every room. However, if your family is right about the temp being too high or low, you might end up giving them the evidence they need to convince you to turn the thermostat up or down a degree. Proceed with caution friends, but knowledge is power.UPDATE: This bad boy is still working! Winter wasn't even a problem, it's helping me fight the good fight.
