TempPro TempSync PRO TP25 Wireless Meat Thermometer — 4 Probes, Smart Bluetooth

I was looking for a smoker that had this built-in, but most of them you have to buy the bigger one and I was in search of a smaller smoker for the houseOne of the ability to start food and be able to monitor it from the house and needed something with enough range for the Bluetooth to reach.This unit fit all those needs very happy with it. I am able to start meat on my smoker out by my barn and watch the progress of it from the comfort of my house that is about 100 to 150’ away.Probe readings are very accurate when double checked with my meat thermometer. I have done two overnight smokes on one charge of the battery and still going.If you are looking for a digital temperature set up with Bluetooth capabilities this is the unit.

Just received it but have not put it to work on the grill. Upon receipt, I tried to set it up.... received error codes. Called their help line and was immediately connected with help. Not sure if it was a real person. Problem was user error. I inserted the probes into the unit until they stopped, and I received error codes. Support told me to push harder. I did (a lot), expecting to damage the unit. After a hard push, the probes clicked into place--up to plastic, no metal exposed. Everything worked after that. After the first time inserting the probes, they went in much easier. Probes and wires are strong. Easy connection with my cell phone and customizing the preset cooking temperatures. So far, happy with what I received. Looking forward to using it on the grill.

I cannot believe how awesome this device has been. I bet I’ve done 50 cooks with these probes and I’ve had zero issues. I also have yet to charge the battery since I got it. I like it. I only wish the app would retain the data if I walked out of range with my device. Otherwise solid all around.

Worked as expected and at a great price!

I use this on the grill and in the kitchen. Works perfectly. Does not require that you use the app every time if not needed. But the app works great as well and as long as you’re within Bluetooth range (around 30 feet) it stays connected to my iPhone 14. The alarms are annoyingly loud but that’s better than too quiet! You can also disable the alarms if you’re cooking around sleeping babies. The probes are durable enough to be fully immersed in hot oil for frying, or left in the grill for ambient temperature. They wash easily (by hand) and the packaging works well for long term storage. If this ever dies I’ll buy another one!

Now, I am a perfectionist about products like this. I feel like if I put a temperature probe into boiling water at sea level, it ought to read 212.001 *at the most*. But that isn't realistic and it isn't necessary for a cooking-grade thermometer. I got 213 and 214 across probes (see picture), which is a pretty small error, which is fine.But here's the main thing that impressed me: as I was installing the app, I was kind of fuming to myself about how annoying it is that anything we want to use nowadays, we have to register with an email address and, more often than not, a cell phone number. Imagine my very pleasant surprise when I installed this app, instantly paired it to the thermometer and was DONE. Setup complete, no account required, minimum BS. FANTASTIC. I cannot praise the product and company enough for this. (I have an Android phone, BTW.)If I have a real complaint, it's that the probe ends don't snap into the receptacles cleanly and satisfyingly. They are a little difficult to push in. They work fine, I just kind of expect a higher-quality "feel" to something like that. But for the price of this probe, that is certainly not worth dinging my rating.Bluetooth, the app, the alarms and vibrations worked *perfectly*, first time. The app is easy to use, and you don't actually really need the app if all you want to do is monitor temperature from the display. You can't set an alarm without the app, though.10/10 would buy again. I have no idea why I waited as long as I did to upgrade my broken old meat thermometer.

I smoked 3 turkeys for 10 hrs and they came out delicious and not burnt. The fourth I used for pit temp.

Worked perfectly

I had an older version of this for years. It was battery operated and didn’t connect to my phone, but it did what I needed it to do, never had a problem with it. It finally died after about 12-15 years. Hence the new one. I love the fact it is rechargeable and connects to my phone. It does so much more than older one! I didn’t realize how out of date old one was. This makes smoking so much less stressful as I don’t have to check my stuff by going outside anymore and the alarms are awesome.

Outstanding buy and performance.

This thing is perfect for me. I have several Bluetooth thermometers. Many are very thick and that thickness works against me. These TP25 probes are nice and skinny. I insert the probes into my protein, set the transmitter on top of my air fryer/convection oven (which permanently sits on my covered patio). It sends the temperature data to my iPhone. I can easily track the temps of 4 different items (steak, potatoes and others). This thing is great. I consider myself an advanced home chef and this device has become my new favorite (I cook to temp. I do not cook based on time. This thing makes my cooking life so, so much better. I recommend this device so very highly. Even though this has a wire from the probe to the transmitter, I prefer this over my fully wireless meat thermometers. This is a great tool for every home chef.

Works very well. Had one probe fail. Emailed TempPro support and they answered immediately with confirmation of receipt. 12 hour later asked for picture of all probes plugged in and unit on, showing defective output of the one probe. 12 later, got tracking number of replacement probe. No charge!!Also have TP03 handheld which we use ALL the time.Good stuff.

Very functional for roasting in oven, especially for beef or any meat you can see temp. So it comes out just how you want. Easy to use

Whether you do straight grilling or smoking or anything in between, these probes are a must-have if you want to get accurate readings of your meats or the actual inside of the grill.

From opening the box I could see that these were gonna be a good set up. Used them for the first time today and was not disappointed. Truly enjoyed the app/bluetooth combo and seeing what was happening temp wise on My smoker.Very pleased!!

Works great. Easy app to use. Accurate probe temps. Long probe lines for use in smokers. Using one probe for grill temp and others in the meats. Can set custom high and low alarms.

Pros: accurate, easy to read, easy to use.Cons: app sucks and will disconnect and delete all data after 4 hours of use so not great for smoking.

Seem to do a great job on my Weber kettle , can monitor 3 different racks of ribs and the grill surface , the app is very readable and connects by bluetooth well.Not internet capable but I knew that

TL/DR I prefer the App for the TempPro, but I LOVE the wireless connection and accuracy of the Chef IQ.I have two sets of thermometers I use. This TempPro TP25 with 4 Probes, and the ChefIQ 3 probe wireless thermometer. There are things I prefer about both. Neither is perfect.First, the good. The accuracy is good. Battery life is simply PHENOMENAL. I've run this unit for almost a week, including overnight cooks, and still not needed to charge it. There is a hook on the back that you CAN use to hang the main unit. The App is excellent. The ability to set multiple target temperatures, or a custom temperature range with high and low temperature alarms is just great. The App allowing you to keep the device from sleeping when it is in use is also key for long cooks. Replacement probes are easily available.The not so good: The wires. If you have several things on a smoker, and you have to pull one, the wires are a nightmare. Also, if you're like me, and move poultry between your smoker and a grill or oven to sear, juggling the wires and main unit is a damn nightmare of hot metal and grease. The alarm on the App. It has one setting, which I call "Wake the Dead." I would LOVE to turn it down to a setting that doesn't make me jump out of my skin. The hook on the back of the unit. It is FLIMSY. It pops out easily and WILL lead to you dropping the unit. I have used this unit for 2 years, and I finally dropped the unit when moving a ham, when the wire snagged and the hook popped out. Now it's a 3-probe unit, but still works great.That frustration caused me to get the 3-probe ChefIQ wireless set. I LOVE not juggling wires, but the TempPro App is just more functional, so I keep using it when I need an ambient temperature range. I also prefer its longer probes for deep frying.

Arrived on time. Works well. Exactly what I wanted.

Unit works flawlessly. Great product.Only issue was connecting Bluetooth to it as the app is the same for a two probe system i purchased 3 years ago.Had to go in and delete app data then it hooked up with no problem.

Easy to use, app works prefect. Decent range, actually works at my neighbors house.Accurate within one or two degrees. Great customer service as well.

Have used these a few times now.There are four separate meat probes.So far I have only two of them, but the chicken and Tri tip I used on turned out perfect.I highly recommend this meat thermometer.
