Used it for the 1st time today when I decided to bake some chicken for lunch! Super easy to use! I put in the battery, put the probe in the thickest part of the drumstick, attached the other end to the unit and turned it on. I changed the setting to PROBE 2 and selected the picture of a chicken. The system automatically gives me 165 degrees for chicken. Then I closed the oven door and stuck the unit to my oven door using the magnet on its back! I walked away to do other chores around the house. Once I heard the beeping, I returned to the kitchen to find my chicken nicely cooked! I left it in the oven for a few more minutes because my husband likes his chicken cooked longer. My only suggestion to the manufacturer is to increase the volume of the alarm so that it can be heard louder around the house and when grilling in the back yard too. I love this product it really helps a lot when it comes to what style meat just in case others are not knowledgeable on meat temperature my friends and family members can use it as well it's very easy. Customer service through the actual website is excellent they had no problem on Replacing it. I've had it since August 2023 I just have a button problem and they're sending me a replacement.

This is the second TP710 I have bought. This one was a gift for my mom who needed one, and since I liked mine so much, I had to get it for her. I like the long lead on the probe and that I can leave it in whatever I'm cooking and just close the grill or oven door on the cable and monitor the temperature without constantly opening the door. The temperatures are accurate and it has recommended temperatures for different meats printed on the back.
Works well and batteries work a long time.
For a serious BBQ guy this is the way to go! Great configuration with a “jackknife “ probe for instant read and another port to attach a wired probe for low and slow cooking.

I purchased in March, now Sept when probe stopped working, still in warranty. Tried all the trouble shooting suggestions, nothing worked, responded on Amazon cite, but did not hear back from TempPro, so thought is was going to be a hassle to get issue resolved.
