TempPro TX-2B Add-On Humidity Sensor — 915MHz, for Indoor/Outdoor Thermometers

Love these. Have 2 full sets and added this as a 3rd sensor. Works great for keeping track of temps in RVs, pet houses, and of course outside.

Their whole customer service organization was great called with a question. They answered it for me. Tell me what I needed to do and show me where on the website to get the parts I needed. It was great wish more companies were like that.

I now can monitor tamps. from the barn and chicken coop prior to feeding. These are a great help.

I already had a three channel reciever. At the time I only bought one transmitter. This time I bought two more transmitters. They work fine. The two new ones are used in my two cigar humidors.

Just what we expected and works great! We use it to monitor temp in the basement & garage/workshop.

This is a replacement for one that started malfunctioning. I appreciate getting a new one, which is as accurate as the old one was before it went on the fritz.

The instructions were easy to follow up to setup each temperature remote. When comparing to another outdoor thermometer I would say the accuracy is relative since neither device is calibrated but within range of each other. The indoor monitor is easy to read as far as the temperatures being displayed but I have a hard time seeing which remote device is being displayed. I don't see well any type of print that is in shades of gray so others may not have the same issue. Read the instructions, it tells you specifically do not let water get into the openings in the bottom of the remote device. I used a water hose to wash off my deck and sprayed water into the device. It quit working and this was strictly due to my error and not the error of the device. I would recommend this device to anyone.

I ordered this product and loved it immediately. I ordered 2 additional sensors to position at other points around the outside of the house/property. Before they arrived, I noticed that the original sensor was reading 5-8 degrees HIGHER in the outdoor temperature reading than a nearby weather station. (and other digital checkpoints) I left a message for the seller about this and received an email from Customer Service the very next day telling me a replacement sensor was on the way. The additional receivers I ordered arrived and work perfectly AND are accurate. I am guessing the replacement will read correctly as well. All that said, very pleased with the form and function, the features, the value and especially the near immediate service and response to a problem. Well done. Highly recommended device and company.

I had purchased and thrown away four or five cheap thermometers and decided I needed to buy a decent one. The reviews were good for this and so I bought one. Settin it up is simple if you read the instructions. There is a position switch with three selections 1,2, and 3. This will allow up to three remotely placed sensors to be connected. The base unit scrolls through 1, 2, and 3 every few seconds so you can compare readings. The lower display allows you to select degrees F or C and a short tap on the bulb icon illuminates the face with a pleasing blue. Temperature on the lower section is indoors where the receiving unit is placed. The base unit comes with two magnet pads which I personally disliked and put Velcro pads on these and stuck the unit on the front door on the inside. The base unit and the remote sending units each take two AAA size batteries. The unit gives humidity in % and shows trends in temperature and humidity. It also stores the high and low readings over either a 24 hour period or the length of time the unit has operated. This is a bargain for the amount of information you get. If it fails I will let you know but so far it deserves 10/10 for design, function and size.
